This toolkit provides language, graphics and other marketing resources to help you share resources during Diabetes Awareness Month hosted every November to raise awareness about diabetes, educate the public, and encourage proactive management of the condition.

Diabetes Awareness Month: November is Diabetes Awareness Month, a time to highlight the importance of diabetes prevention and management. UGA Extension provides resources to help reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and support those managing the condition. These include the Right Bite Cooking School, a curriculum with recipes and educational materials, and Diabetes Life Lines, a newsletter with articles and recipes. Additionally, our Diabetes Prevention Program offers a yearlong lifestyle change program statewide, both online and in person.
